Slovak Danish Network is a voluntary association founded in March 2024 by a group of young Slovaks living in Denmark, aiming to connect the Slovak diaspora — students, professionals, and expats — through events and community support, especially after the closure of the Slovak Embassy in Denmark.
The project involved the creation of a visual identity and a website to give the organization a clear and trustworthy public presence. The goal was to provide a simple, functional platform for information sharing, direct contact with members, event ticket sales, membership sign-ups, and donations — all to support an active and self-funded community.
Designed to be clean, easy to navigate, and functional, the site reflects the values of the organization: openness, community, and support.
The logo was inspired by the shape of a traditional seal, reflecting the formal and trustworthy nature of the organization. As a voluntary association that continues the legacy of a friendship society established in 1997, the design needed to convey both continuity and credibility.
A stencil-style typeface was chosen to enhance the impression of official documentation and printed stamps. Its sharp, elegant lines give the logo a sense of seriousness, while still feeling modern and adaptable across formats.
The circular composition reinforces the identity of an organized and unified group. The deep blue color further strengthens the tone of reliability and professionalism.
